SAUDI ARABIA Hadi ‘Ali Suliaman al-Yami

Amnesty International has learnt that Hadi ‘Ali Suliaman al-Yami is facing imminent execution. According to information received by the organisation, Hadi ‘Ali Suliaman al-Yami was due for execution today. Following intervention by different parties, his execution was delayed for 20 hours, meaning he could be executed tomorrow.

He was originally sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for helping a man escape from prison, but his sentence was said to have been changed unexpectedly to death, possibly following a secret appeal process.
