Shi'a Pilgrims Face Aggressive Measures at Saudi Airports 10 December 2007 The Saudi authorities have taken strict measures against Shi'a pilgrims who were coming to Mecca to perform the yearly religious pilgrimage , the aggressive measures included inspection bags and baggage . They were also dealt with insults and offensive words as calling them infidels and Rafedah (rejecters). Some of them were arrested in Saudi airport of Jaddah for many hours with unjustified causes . It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Embassies in some Arab and Gulf countries refused to grant many Shi'a pilgrims visas enter the country.
