The Saudi Regime continued to violate the human rights in the Arabian Peninsula. Moreover, it violated the articles of what is called " The Basic Laws " which was vacated of its content. The  article (1) of the Basic Law states that: " The state protects human rights in accordance with the Islamic Shari'ah   ".

It also violated the Shari'a laws which pretended it applied its laws. The  article (23) of the Basic Law states that: "  The state protects Islam; it implements its Shari'ah; it orders people to do right and shun evil; it fulfills the duty regarding God's call. "

But it obvious that the Saudi violations of human rights have no end, and they particularly targeted Shi'a adherents despite their religious riots and practices were not violated the governmental regulations and laws and they are not different of the riots and practices of the public practice of non-Muslim religions, as the celebration of the birth of their prominent religious characters.

On  10 / 4 / 2007 the Saudi authorities arrested two Shi'a citizens: Hussain Al-'Abbud and M'atooq Al-Jandal from al-Qareen village of al-Ahsa after a celebration of the birth of the prophet Muhammad in Hussainait al-Mustafa. Their case was referred to the Governorate of Eastern Province to make a decision.

The Saudi Regime followed sectarian style varied of other cultural ones applied by other political regimes, scoring another point of violations in its miserable human rights record.

CDHRAP call the international community, international human rights and non-governmental organizations to pressure on Saudi regime to release the above mentioned citizens.
