On the last week , some citizens were
arrested by al-Mabahith al-`Amma (General Investigations) in Ihsaa Province
within the framework of Prosecution against Muslim Shia and the prohibition of
religious freedom.
They are:
1 . Sayyid Jawad Sayyid Hassan
al-Mosawi, an employer from al-Mubarraz Village in Ihsaa.
2. Sayyid Hassain Sayyid Tahir
al-Hassan from Jybail Village , Ihsaa.
3. Salih al- Bodeiwi , from
Taraf Village, Ihsaa .
4. Ahmad Ibrahim al - Salim,
from Hofuf , Ihsaa.
These citizens were sentenced
to 4 months imprisonment without trial or opportunity to defend themselves.
They were accused of
performance of religious rituals in their private homes after the closure of
some mosques and religious halls (Husseinyats) in that Province.
It is worth mentioning that
the Saudi regime during the last years had closed down or prohibited of
building many mosques and religious halls , included:
1 . Beit al - Fathela for
teaching women Quran and legitimate rules, 1414 H.
2 . The mosque of al - Falah
District in Sihat town, 1418 H.
3 . The mosque of al - Gharnata
District if Sihat, 1417 H.
4 . Husseinyat Imam Zein
al-Abdin in Sihat, 1418 H.
5 . Husseinyat al-Shafili and
al-Abbas in Sihat.
In the early 1412 H and
synchronous with the anniversary commemoration of Imam Hassein's martyrdom
(P.B.U.H) on the first day of the Islamic month of Muharram coinciding with
April 2000, the Saudi regime launched a campaign on the mosques and Husseinyat
and closed down some of them , they are :
1 . Mosque of Imam Hussein
(P.B.U.H) in Askan district in Bataliyah village.
2. Husseinyat Imam Hassan
Mujtaba (P.B.U.H) in Nazha district , al - Muborraz town.
3. Husseinyat al - Qa'im
(P.B.U.H) in Mashraqa district, al - Mubarraz town.
4. Husseinyat Arasool al -
Aauham (P.B.U.H) in Askan districk , Bataliyah Villaye.
5. Husseinyat al - Murtaza
(P.B.U.H) in al - Jirin Village.
6 . Husseinyat al - Zahea
(P.B.U.H) in al - Jirin Villaye.
7 . Husseinyat Imam al -
Askari (P.B.U.H) in Andalus district .
8 . Majlis Al al - Katan in
Ihsaa .
9 .
Majlis Nasir al - Mari , Ihsaa .
It is note worth that the
Regime has turned recently the mosque of Imam Hussein (P.B.U.H) in Bataluyah
Village into a private home, this decision is considered a disregard to the
sacredness of mosques which Islam orders to respect it.
