Former Detainees Talk about Torture Methods in Saudi Jails

In refutation upon the statements which have made by the Saudi officials who denied exposure detainees to torture and that Saudi regime treats them with human and Islamic treatment, some former detainees who have released recently mentioned that the Regime practiced with them and with the detainees who are still held, a cruel method of torture.

One of these methods is preventing the detainee to go to toilet  for long time which causes danger diseases.

Among those who exposed to that method was Sheikh Ali Abdullah Abu-Taki who was arrested on  April 24 , 1996 . He was transferred to a hospital to perform a surgery in the urinary passages.

It is worth mentioning that Sheikh Ali Abu Taki has been held for five  years without trial and denied opportunity to defend himself and his family had never been provided with the reasons of his arrest.

On one hand , the citizen Sayyid Abdullah Tahir al-Hassan was arrested by al-Mabahith al-`Amma before one week because he didn't follow the orders to close Husseinuat al-Nazha which closed down by Regime in the early of the Islamic month of Moharram of this year.

It is worth to point out that the mosque of Iskan District in Ihsaa  Province was one of the Islamic centers which were closed down in Moharram.
