The Saudi Regime Releases
the two Religious Scholars Sayyid al-Shakhs and Sayyid al-Nahwi .
Since the detention of the two religious scholars
(Sayyid Hashim al-Shakhs) and (Abdullah Hussein al-Nahwi) , the country has
witnessed a wide public protest and Islamic anger , it also witnessed a
domestic move by a number of prominent jurists, notables and personalities .
The Committee’s reliable resourees stated that on 19
/0 4 / 2000 the prison of al-Mabhith al-`Amma in Ihsaa became overcrowded of
hundreds of arrivers to notify and make sure of the situation of Sayyid al-Shakhs
and Sayyid al-Nahwi and by virtue of God and the efforts of our Ulama and loyal
sons of our country who are zealous on their religion and fond of their
religious scholars , the Regime was compelled to release them and it failed to
enforce them to sign on any undertaking .
As we bring these good news to our country sons
and other Muslims all over the world , we call to similar move to exert another
pressure on
the Regime to release other
scholars and youths who are still held in custody for more than five years and
we call for a serious move to end the series of closing down the mosques and
religious centers because they are considered as a barricade to combat the
western cultural insult which is opposite to Islam .
The Saudi Regime attempts to carry out a devious plot
to isolate our natives from their loyal religious scholars who call for the
honesty of nation as a prelusion to isolate them from their religion, beliefs
and values.
The detention of Muslim youths slolely for their
relation with scholars and connection with mosque and Hussainiyat which is
considered by the Regime as punishable crime, is a serious action to frighten
people of adherence to their religion, but we are sure that all our countrymen
are aware of that devious plot .
