On 25/02/2000 the
Saudi regime hold a Seminar under the title “The Human Rights in Islam” at the
(Islamic Cultural Center) by the Saudi ambassador to Italy (Mohammad bin Nawwaf
bin Abdul Aziz).
The Saudi press described the
Seminar as an international one and invited many international bodies. The
eye-catching in this case is holding a seminar about human rights by Saudi
regime while it has a black record in the field of human rights and it is
considered one of the most regimes in the world which violating the
international and Islamic
standards of human rights.
Does the Saudi regime want to
send a message to whom will be concern that it is interested of Islam and its
principles and: “Islam pays much attention towards the human rights and human
dignity and preserves them”?
Could the Regime through that
seminar change the black reality that shows its failure in the field of human
rights?
It is note worth that this
seminar was held while the reports of international organizations come
successively confirming the Saudi regime’s violations against human rights.
How could the Saudi natives and the world satisfy
the claim of the Regime that it applies the Shari`a and preserves the human
rights and human dignity while it disregards Islam and scorns the feelings of
Muslims through imposing stringent measures and harassment on Islamic scholars
, youths and preventing them to perform their Islamic duties. Moreover, it
holds them in prisons solely they propagated the virtue and prevented the vice.
The illegal bases of the Regime
have rested since the day when the inhumed (Abdul Aziz bin Saud) had
established his state in Arabian Peninsula on the skulls of people and
repressing the human freedom, killing and capturing them, plundering their
dignity and sense of honor.
The history had taken record of
embarrassed faces of oppression and tyranny and committing hideous massacres
against people in the claim of uniting the country and spreading the belief of
monotheism.
Ahmad Abdul Ghafoor Attar (one
of the Regim’s followers and the opportunist writers ) has stated in his book
“Saqor al- Jazeerah” a terrible facts about the Saudi permeation for Ta`if City
in Safar 1342 H. He stated “The Saudi Army came to 50,000 soldiers and
frightened the nice country with artillery fire. The old houses tumbled, the
crying of children, the lamenting of women the weeping of men on their relatives became loud. They
haven’t witnessed the war before , they are witnessed it and its wild and
primitivism acts now.”
The writer added , “the people
looked through the holes of their homes and saw the Bedouins and savages were
full of the plains and their swords were hanging as they were shaking from
drinking the blood.” He added. “The Bedouins who had requites , found the
opportunity to revenge, for that they marched towards the homes , raided them
and brought utter killing upon people and molested their women and girls.
After beheading them, they put
their necks under the taps and tankers, drank their blood , performed the
ritual ablution from that water which was mixed with blood and prayed. They did
not take out the golden bracelets from the women’s wrists but they cut their
wrists and feet, they put them on their wrists and the golden necklaces on
their necks in order they did not prevent them of killing and plundering .
By this way the Saudi Religious
Sultan (Sultan bin Bejad) entered the country and vacated it from the citizens.
He called up them in the gardens of Shabra and its palace.
The women were unveiled for the
first time in the country with the men. They spent many days without food and
water!”
The inhumed (Abdul Aziz) played
on Islam and its concepts, changed the facts and justified the killing of
people in the name of Islam and spreading the Islamic belief. These facts were
mentioned by one of the Regime’s followers (Hafiz Wahba) who was the first
ambassador to London , certified in his book “Fifty years in Arabian Peninsula”
a letter was sent by his master “Abdul Aziz” on Safar 22, 1343 after 12 days of
occupying the city of Ta`if by the Saudi Army, he described its
people as “polytheists.” In that letter , Abdul Aziz said, “ Our group occupied
al-Ta`if and killed all the polytheists till the day of Saturday when the
herald called the people: “He who wants safety and Islam , must surrender and
deliver his weapon. After that the people appeared from their places holding
their arms and food. Then the Muslims occupied the country and when they
refined the country from the polytheists they appointed individuals to collect
and count the loots
The notables decided to appoint
(Khalid bin Mansour) to run the affairs of the country and to receive the heads
of the tribes and others who want to profess Islam and took their arms and
money.”
On Safar 29, 1420 H Abdul Aziz

participation or preparation for that seminar because it is considered as
agreement on the Regime’s crimes and human rights violations against people.
We call upon the Muslims , the
human rights organizations and every awakened conscience to show their protest
and condemnation for that misled step which aims to hide its abuses and to
