The processes of arrests , pressure and pursuit against Saudi citizens still the effective policy by the Saudi repressive staff till our country becomes as a big jail for all people where they feel frightened because the arrests are carried out arbitrarily and in a detective way without clear justifications or regard to the Islamic and international mores and laws because our country is not ruled by constitution or permanent legitimate and official laws except royal decrees and personal temper .
In this regard, the members of al-Mabahith al-`Amma
(General Investigations) have raided the job location of the citizen Abdul Majid Hussein
al-Naser, aged 36 , an employer at domestic establishment in Dammam city . He
was arrested immediately and led forcibly to his house which was thoroughly
inspected with immoral way , and then he was deported to the prison of
al-Mabahith al-`Amma in Dammam in order to transfer him to al-Ha'ir prison in
Riyadh .His family has not been notified with the reasons of his arrest .
It is worth mentioning that al-Naser has no political
activities and didn't join with any religious activity before his arrest .
Al-Naser was previously arrested by al-Mabahith al-`Amma in August 1996 within
the framework of oppressive campaigns which had been launched by the Regime.
It is worth to point out and draw the attention of
every awakened conscience all over the world that there are hundreds of
religious and citizens still suffer in the prisons of al-Ha'ir , al-Qasim,
al-Dammam and other jails through the country for many years. They have waited
the unknown fate suffering all kinds of torture and denied the right of fair
trial and the opportunity to defend themselves directly or by lawyers and they
have not been informed the reasons behind their arrest.
We call upon you to raise your voices to join
with these detainees and to put an end to this farce which is played by the
Interior Ministry under the slogan of (Keeping the security and stability of
the country).
