A Killing of Muezzin by the Members of (CPVPV)

The sectarian discrimination and prosecution of the adherents of other Muslim Sects which are not in conformity with the belief and ideology of the Saudi Religious Establishment , is the prominent feature of Saudi policy against the population of Arabian Peninsula.

The Saudi Regime has violated the religious and human rights of the people till it imagines that the human being in the country becomes as a cat's paw to carry out its base purposes . The concepts of (Religion, Islam, Shari`a, Duty, Sunna and Heterodoxy ) are worded by the Regime to suit its interests and terrorist policy in order to sow the seeds of disunity and wrangle between the Islamic sects . Our people have been suffering because of this devious policy.

   Before several days, some members of the Committee for the Propagation of  Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (CPVPV) in al-Jafar village in Ihsaa, have arrested the citizen Ahmad bin Ahmad al - Mulablab a  55 - year - old and led him to unknown direction . On 20 / 11 / 1998 his family was called by the (CPVPV) to collect his body.

   This oppressed citizen died as a martyr in the prison of this terrorist Committee due to horrible torture on the hands of its members who spread the fear and terrorism among people, calling them to Islam and propagating the practices of Saudi sect by force and coercive measures which are contrary to Quran and Sunna .

   The above - mentioned citizen who was muezzin in al - Jafar mosque has been warned many times by (CPVPV) that he Should change the calling to prayer in the Shia way because the (CPVPV) believes that his way to call to prayer differs from their way , but al - Mulablab did not care about their warning . He insisted to follow his duty which was not contrary to the freedom of religion and faith.

   Al - Mulblab died as a martyr of the religion and he was a victim of tyranny , religious prosecution and sectarian discrimination .

   Al - Mulblab's family has refused to collect his body and submitted a complaint to the Interior Ministery to hold investigation in the accident . The latter promised to offer his body on medical examiner to avoid the public indignation.

   This accident is not unique in the black record of  the Saudi regime . The Regime has previously arrested the citizen (Sadiq Abdul Karim Malallah) due to his religious and ideological interests and comparative study between religions and doctrines , then , a false charge (cursing Allah and the Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) and the Holy Qur'an ) was made up against him , then he was executed in 1992 .

   For these reasons , no one could trust of the credibility of (Saudi regime) on its accession to some international treaties as the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel , Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CAT) and the International Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Racial Discrimination ( CFRO).

   Finally , it is worth to point to an important things that the (CPVPV) is an official establishment and it follows the orders of the Regime and the Saudi Regime assumes the responsibility of the serious exercises of the (CPVPV) against the security of people and their freedom and dignity .

   We call upon Muslim Ulama , the thinkers, the educated, the Islamic universities and centers all over the world, all the human rights bodies to condemn this crime and to ask the Saudi regime to bring the perpetrators to justice.
