The Saudi Authority is a Record full

of Human Rights Violations

Despite the worse record and black history of Saudi regime in the field of human rights and in spite of its disclosure and appearance of its lies, deception and shirking of obligation of international treaties and their articles , despite all that the Saudi regime still denies the facts which are clear for all. In order to silence the voices , shut the mouths , hide the facts and to avoid the international pressure, the Saudi regime began to buy some mortal consciences which are affected of the sparkle of dollars and riyals, or threats the effective governments with economic interests.

The human rights situation will become worse if the Regime still commits crimes and attacks against people and residents before the eyes and in the hearing of the world without any protest from anyone or taking serious measures to stop the Regime's abuses .

The Regime will continue its hostile way towards people particularly there are no clear laws or written constitution which protects human rights . The country is ruled by royal decrees and individuals decisions which take into the consideration the interests of Royal family.

The last few days have witnessed a severe campaign by the Regime against the religious scholars who some of them are still held in custody for many years and subjected to psychological and physical torture and the Regime aims to set these scholars aside and to prohibit them to exercise their role among people. All that done for political and sectarian considerations.

The Saudi authorities arrested Sheikh Ahmad al-Khalifa  a 39 - year – old , a religious scholar from Ihsaa Province, at a borderline check- point and then some members of al-Mabahith al-`Amma have deported him to the custody without informing him the reasons of the arrest .

Sheikh al-Khalifa was returning from Qom in Iran where he has been for many years to pursue his religious studies.

It is worth mentioning that the Prince of Eastern Province (Mohammad bin Fahad) has issued a cruel decision imposing arrest and confiscating of passport of everyone who traveled abroad for studying religious studies or visiting holy shrines in Iraq or Iran. As a result of this unfair decision, the Regime has confiscated passports of scores scholars and citizens. Our committee has known names of some individuals who were included in that decision , they are:

1 . Sheikh Mousa al-Sultan, aged 35 , a  religious scholar and a prominent preacher from Ihsaa.

2 . Sheikh Ahmad al-Shahab, aged 35 , a religious scholar from Ihsaa.

3 . Sheikh Ahmad al-Shayib, aged 33, a religious scholar and  a prominent preacher from Ihsaa.

4 . Sheikh Ahmad al-Ma'ayoof , aged 32, a religious scholar from Ihsaa.

5 . Sheikh Yousif al-Nazzal,  a religious scholar from Ihsaa.

6 . Sheikh Salih Shihab, aged 27, a religious scholar from Jaroudiyah village of Qatif.

7 . Sheikh Mohammad Dirweesh, a religious scholar from Qatif .

8 . Sheikh Mortaza Abdul Jaleel al-Maa, aged 23, a religious scholar from Tarout in al-Qatif .

9 . Sheikh Abdul Rasool al-Dirweesh , a religious scholar from Qatif.

10 . Sayyid Anwer al-Khadhrawi, a religious scholar from Qatif.

11 . Sheikh Fayiz al-Awazim, a religious scholar from Qatif.

12 . Sheikh Mohammad al-Nattar , a religious scholar from Qatif.

13 . Sheikh Ali Al Habeeb , aged 40 , a religious scholar, from Snabis village in Tarout al-Qatif.

14 . Sheikh Ali al-Juneibi, a religious scholar from al-Qatif.

15 . Sheikh Hussein al-Atal, a religious scholar from al-Qatif .

16 . Sheikh Feisal al-Arfan , a religious scholar from al-Qatif.

It is worth mentioning that some Ulema and religious scholars and citizens who were former prisoners or have studied religious studies abroad are still banned to travel despite their frequent requests to return their passports but the Regime didn't give them legal excuse for that inhuman measure.

On one hand, reliable sources have stated to our committee  that the situation of some detainees in Saudi prisons became very bad due to brutal torture and ill- treatment . Some of them have been deported to the hospitals more times and among them were Sayyid Hashim Mohammad al-Shakhs and Sheikh Abdul Kareem Kadhem al-Hubeil and the citizen Abdullah al-Jarrash.
